Stayed up too late and BFBC2 issues

I was up until nearly 1am playing Mass Effect 2. Good time to play though, since the kids are in bed.

I continued my romance subplot with Garrus. That just gets funnier and funnier. Mordin serenaded me with a Salarian version of the Major-General song from the Pirates of Penzance. I about pee'd myself. I know there is a YouTube video of it if you are so inclined.

I traveled to Illium last night and there are some big missions there. You run into Liara from the first Mass Effect. She's happy to see you and has some work for you. I will not give away the solution to her mission. You get to figure out how good your detective skills are. Just some advice, read the data you find VERY carefully. There are little side missions too and you can buy 3 new star maps for new systems. Hubby says those areas have side missions you can find by scanning planets. *sigh* Back to the scanning. Oh and I am broke in this game now, from purchasing weapon and armor upgrades. I need some cash. *lol*

I saved my game while I was on a Collector ship. I won't give that little plot twist away either but once I play again I have to pick up Thane and Tali to complete my crew. There is a darkened spot for one more member and I wonder if that will be another DLC character like Zaeed. It makes me want to hold off playing so I can have that character with me while I am doing the storyline. Never fear though, we have been assured by BioWare that we can continue to play after beating the main storyline, unlike the first Mass Effect.

As for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, can't get into a multiplayer match. For some reason their server doesn't like my ISP. I have done everything I can think of to fix it. I hope they work the bugs out soon.
